God with us at work
A prayer which explores our attitude in the workplace
Living Lord, even when I fail to notice,
You are my constant companion in each day's endeavours.
I may not be able to change the things that are assigned to me,
But the attitude with which I embrace them
is mine to determine.
I might not choose the people who labour alongside me
But I cannot help but influence
The time and space we share.
So whether You are known
Through the task that I perform
Or the spirit in which I undertake it
May Your image be reflected in me
